Culver's is Culver's-y. You pretty much always know what you're going to get and this location is no different than any other. The food was hot and fresh and delivered to our table promptly. The staff was mostly teenagers, and they were friendly and had a good run of the place. Usually I would give a Culver's four stars, but this particular location had a couple of hiccups. The ladies rest room is set up really poorly - when walking in I almost bashed the woman washing her hands with the door because it swings open right into the sink area with very little room in between. I was also almost hit when washing my hands - unless you are right up to the sink you're in the way of the door. Our food was delivered without any napkins or silverware; not a huge deal but most locations will bring them to you with your food. I was easily able to grab napkins at the condiment counter, but had to wait in line at the register to get utensils. The "BBQ Beef Special" is a sloppy joe. Considering that they serve pot roast, it was a bit of a surprise that the $5 sandwich looked like a cafeteria cast off. My mother called sloppy joes barbecue when I was growing up, so it's probably a Wisconsin thing, but it's not at all what my boyfriend was expecting and probably not what the average person thinks of when they see the term BBQ. Not a bad visit by any means, but compared to other locations this one falls just a little short.

Service was slow. They didn't have enough fried chicken for my 4 piece order and had to cook more. Took about 20 minutes.. I'm sure the fries were cooked some time that day, just not very recently. They had a dry outer shell filled with what seemed to be mashed potatoes. Fried chicken was good, not greasy.

This Culver's is like any other Culver's. I had the fish sandwich and enjoyed it. The kids had cheeseburgers and chicken tenders. I requested applesauce with all three instead of fries but got one with applesauce and two with fries, but it wasn't the end of the world and the kids barely noticed. The people working there were friendly and the place was tidy.

I thought I would be thrilled to be back in civilization after my overnight canoe and camping trip. But nope, I was still disappointed. WHAT DID I GET MYSELF INTO!? Erm. I got the Mushroom and Swiss. Absolutely no mushroom flavor, I can't tell if it was there. Patty, I think the only worse ones I have had was the abysmal greek pita at Athens airport McDonald's. I'm starting to think all fast food burger chains in Madison taste like that. Sigh. Well, I would have gave 1 star, if not for the decent onion rings. I like that. there was real onion in there. I then had the flavor of the day - Just Drummy. Basically peanuts, chocolate chunks, wafer bits in culver's frozen custard. That was ok. Mmm I wouldn't say it was bad. But it wasn't great either. Lol. so, I guess the place are just for hungry and tired hikers/campers heading back to Madison. So long~

This Culvers is like a paradise oasis. Driving around Western Wisconsin, we await impatiently before we come to our favorite stop. Always starving we always get quality! The high Culvers quality standard.

I've been going to this Culver's for three years and it has a great staff of custard scoopers. Inside is your usual Culver's set up; tables, booths, counter to order your fast food and condiment counter. Even a few TVs playing sports and commercials for Culver's. I can't imagine the business it must do being by the only stop light for miles and miles. But their high school aged staff are always pleasant and quick, even during the large black out I bought custard during once. If you can't tell by now, my recommendation is to pick up 4 pints of custard from the freezer for $8.99.
